Core Essentials

Built to give athletes a complete foundation by rotating through key areas of volleyball each session, such as ball control, serving, defense, and offensive movement. This revolving criteria approach ensures players aren’t just repeating the same drills, but are consistently challenged to develop new skills while reinforcing the fundamentals. Parents can feel confident knowing their athlete will gain well-rounded training, steady improvement, and the confidence to apply what they’ve learned in any playing environment. Athletes walk away with stronger fundamentals, a deeper understanding of the game, "CORE volleyball vocabulary,"and the readiness to take the next step in their volleyball journey.  As athletes demonstrate competency in a given skill, coaches will move them to our Intermediate clinics.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Focus: Fundamentals, confidence, teamwork

Outcome: A solid foundation to grow in volleyball and beyond

Small Group Privates

Offered before/after clinic sessions, small group privates are a great way for athletes to learn at their own pace with the support of peers and coaches. With smaller group sizes, coaches are able to slow down, give extra attention, and ensure each player fully understands the fundamentals before moving forward. Parents can feel confident knowing their athlete is developing skills in a positive, encouraging setting that builds confidence, establishes a strong foundation, and prepares them for future success in volleyball.

Duration: 30 minutes

Focus: Coach/Player determined

Intermediate

Academy Skill Clinics

Our most diverse offering at CorePVA, Academy Skill Clinics are designed to give athletes focused training on the most important areas of volleyball, such as serving, passing, setting, blocking, hitting, and defense followed by game application.  Each clinic breaks down specific techniques in a clear, step-by-step way so players can sharpen fundamentals, correct habits, and build confidence in specific skills. With experienced coaches guiding instruction, athletes receive both group feedback and individual attention to ensure steady growth. These clinics are perfect for players who want extra reps, targeted development, and the chance to strengthen their game outside of regular team practices.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Focus: Fundamental progressions, confidence, teamwork, game play

Outcome: Applying a solid foundation to the game
